Jalapeño Fresh Mexican Bistro: Authentic Halal Mexican Cuisine in Laurel, MD

Food was very fresh and tasty. Staff was super friendly and attentive. They gave me some great recommendations and treated us well. Lamb kabob was so delicious. Atmosphere was nice and place was very clean and well lit. I highly recommend and plan on coming back.

This place has excellent halal Indian food. It can be a bit too salty at times. I recommend that you try their magic sauce! Potatoes and pea curry is good too. The salad comes with a vinegarette that has a nice flavor.

Really good food - it's all simple and tasty. I love that you can customize it to pretty much any way you want, too. Lots of parking and space to sit down inside. They have a Mexican side and a kabob side, so definitely grab a menu and take a look first - it can be a little overwhelming if it's your first time!

You must stop and see it for yourself The taco salad was amazing. The seasoning was like no other. The stake was nice and tender. The mango putting was perfect. Not too sweet, nice and fluffy with great consistency

All I can say is wow! The portions for the plates are HUGE, the naan is super well made, and the lamb/chicken combo was the one of the best I've had. While both meats were fully cooked, they weren't difficult to chew or rubbery. Service was quick and the place is spotless. Definitely try this place out.

I was in Laurel today at ICCL for Jummah prayers and after prayers I was searching for Halal options for lunch and then I found Jalapeno Afghan Kababs offers an incredible fusion of Afghan and Tex-Mex flavors, especially with their halal tacos, quesadillas, and chicken club sandwiches. The tacos were packed with juicy, spiced meat and fresh toppings, while the quesadillas bring a unique twist with perfectly grilled tortillas and a delicious cheese-meat combo. The chicken club sandwich was a standout, with tender grilled chicken and flavorful ingredients. A must-try for anyone seeking bold, halal Mexican cuisine!

OK what can I say. I saw the name while I was driving through the shopping center and decided to look it up to my surprise it said Afghan/Mexico. Little confused, but also very intrigued. Decided to stop by one day for lunch and let me tell you this place definitely does not disappoint! You can pretty much try anything on the menu and you’ll be fine. Service was dope. Place is clean… food is amazing.

The Chicken Kabob with the lentils amazing! Also gota try the Mango Lasi if you are a mango fan. So good went there twice in one week. Service is great, food’s delicious atmosphere is dope and comfy
